I didn't get to make my annual pilgrimage down to Charleston this spring but I'm already penciling in time to visit next year. It's one of my favorite destinations within our fifty states. And thanks to recent mentions in both Travel + Leisure and Southern Living, I'll be booking my future stay at Zero George Street, a boutique resort-like experience steps from the charm of the historic district. I fell so hard for the gorgeous exterior architecture that the guest rooms could have involved a cot and a shared bath (fyi: the guest rooms are the picture of southern sophistication) and I'd still stay here. Spanning several historic buildings, the mix of architecture styles is heavenly perfection.
