I came across this charming little English Inn in one of my travel magazines this month. Yes, I'm one of those people who torture themselves with subscriptions to monthly travel magazines. I just had to read the name, The Wild Rabbit, to know I would be instantly in love with everything about this hotel. Nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds this historic stone manor has been thoroughly restored capitalizing on the charm of rough hewn stone, bleached beams and plentiful natural light. I mean, just look as those windows!
What I love so much about the interiors is that they haven't "overstuffed" them in that typical english country way. They've left the furnishings neutral, natural and minimal so that the architecture really shines through. Yes, I can see myself tromping through the countryside and visiting historic houses with this as my home base. All the while wearing my trusty wellies and waxed jacket. Consider this inn added to my travel list.
