This post might be a desperate plea to mother nature to put an end to this incessant rain. At least for the Fourth and maybe over the weekend too? I'll be down on the Cape and hope to enjoy the lounge spaces my mother's created among her various gardens. There's nothing better than taking refuge in the garden with a cold drink, a book and the breeze whistling through the trees during a hot afternoon. Or sharing drinks and appetizers with friends or family in the evening with glass hurricanes gleaming in the the twilight.
