Given my ineptitude towards skiing, snowboarding, ice skating and other cold weather activities, thanks to my southern Florida upbringing, I rarely participate in weekend trips during the winter. Instead the summer and early fall are my weekender paradise. My old Vera Bradley weekender is showing it's age so I've been hunting around for the perfect bag to fill it's shoes. Recently, when I've been traveling by car I've been using an old (large) Bean's boat-and-tote which suits me nicely but I do need another over-head sized duffle for airplane, ferry and other methods of travel where you need a closed-top bag.
