Several of my friends will be in traveling in Paris this week and I may be a touch jealous. There's really no help for it, Paris is on the brain. The romantic city of lights has another draw, for me at least, the fabulous architecture and interiors. My favorite appartements parisiens are those with perfectly preserved historical details paired with more modern furnishings. The historic details in this beautiful, light filled grand 18th century are heightened by the contemporary decor.
The poignancy of this design style isn't lost when we move into the more rustic attic spaces which call to mind La Boheme.
