What is there to do when you have a long, narrow penthouse flat but have ample flat roof space? Build outward, of course, with the help of that country house staple, the conservatory. Madderlake Designs stepped in to add much needed square footage using several of these glazed structures. The result is a light and airy rooftop retreat.
Groves of birch trees, planted as a privacy and sound barrier against city sounds, lends to the country retreat feel.
