I'll admit it, I enjoy a good visit to the Swedish flat-pak furnishing giant. I'll also admit that the majority of my apartment's furniture came from Ikea and while it's held up surprisingly well, after four years I'm getting really, really sick of it. Probably has nothing to do with its origin but more a reflection of my taste evolving. Its okay though I have a plan. Sort of. More on this at a later date. Anyway, I stumbled upon two things this morning while surfing the internets that help bring new life or more panache to standard Ikea buys.
#1 - This awesome hack from The Sweet Beast using the Svalbo console table.
#2 - PrettyPegs; colorful, sassy peg legs for ikea beds, dressers, and sofas. From Sweden, of course!
