For the Duchess of Cambridge that is; I've been following her looks from the royal couple's first official overseas tour to the Canadian provinces with great attention the past several days. I don't know whether to be in awe of her stylish ways or insanely jealous? Maybe both? Anyway, for those of you who haven't been religiously checking Hello Magazine's website here's a sampling of their coverage...
Shall we begin at the beginning...a stylish navy Roland Mouret dress paired with a smart blazer from Smythe for the couple's departure from England. I'm crazy for the Mulberry satchel she's carrying! For their arrival in Ottawa Catherine changed into a lovely lace overlay shift dress by Erdem, who's principle is Canadian-born.
Festively attired for Canada Day - you may recognize her Reiss dress from the couple's official engagement photographs. She accessorized with a diamond brooch in the shape of a maple leaf lent to her by the Queen and a stunning red fascinator designed by Sylvia Fletcher.
You can't imagine that Catherine would leave for an eleven-day tour without several dresses by much favored label Issa London? This vibrant number was worn to evening festivities in honor of Canada Day - notice the diamond maple leaf brooch again adorns her lapel. Very patriotic.
Such a lovely cream ensemble for their arrival on Prince Edwards Island. The dress is by Joseph and is paired with neutral Monolo Blahniks. If I could afford to, this is probably the dress I would pick to buy for myself!
Another Erdem design in blue for afternoon engagements in Montreal. While touring the streets of Prince Edwards Island Catherine choose a dress fit for a cricket match or a day of yachting.
I'll keep you posted later this week as the couple's tour in Canada finishes and they stop over in LA before returning home.
