Some late night internet surfing led me to this little gem, the home of Style at Home editor Erin McLaughlin. While technically not really an "apartment" it is a classic {14 1/2 foot wide} victorian cottage. McLaughlin's self described "contemporary with a nod to quirky, Euro style" fits perfectly in the home's long, skinny and high ceilinged rooms.
What made me stop and stare initially was this gorgeous french blue sofa {my favorite sofa, the Azure by Crate and Barrel} paired with the delicious grey tones of the room's accents and wall color. Just when I was thinking that this alone was a good enough reason to love this house's decor I flipped to the next image(s)... and found walls covered in equestrian themed artwork. Heaven! I've mentioned my love affair with all things horse, haven't I?
Lovely bright and open kitchen and lounge space. I'm especially loving the the open shelving for her dining and glassware.
A variation on a theme, the bedroom features accents in shades of pink along with the more substantial grey palette used throughout the rest of the home. Who doesn't love a little pink?
