So clutch - Amanda Pearl

I first experienced a squeal of delight when I saw her Sculpted Sparkle Ring featured in the latest issue of Matchbook but my excitement continued when I investigated her website and discovered her line of vintage inspired clutches as well as her divine jewels. Founder, Amanda Pearl Brotman launched her collection of spectacular and unusual evening bags in 2008 with designs "inspired by antique jewelry, modern art, vintage travel posters and the fashion of the fifties and sixties." That wildly successful endeavor was soon followed by a line of jewelry created using natural materials such as shell and pearl in combination with semi precious stones and and Swarovski crystals from vintage chandeliers. Here are a few of my favorites from recent collections:

1. Frida "Lune" Bag with removable pom-poms
2. Celadon "Pasha " Clutch with celadon satin and shell, pearl and mother of pearl beads
3. Sculpted Sparkle Ring with Peach Swarovski crystal
4. Sculpted Sparkle Dangle Earrings with Peach Swarovski crystal
5. Darcy "Pasha" Clutch with vintage orange silk brocade and pearl and clear crystal beads
6. Three Strand Buri Mix Bracelet with pink buri beads and gold wood beads
