While I didn't run in the Boston Marathon I did participate in some marathon shopping days this weekend. My mother, aunt, and cousin were in town for my great-grandmother's memorial service and afterwards hit up Charles and Newbury Streets for hard core retail therapy. Around five o'clock we ended up in Crate and Barrel where I rediscovered the Azure Sofa.
I had previously considered this sofa (in a more neutral linen) when I first moved into my apartment three years ago but in the end went for the cheaper option at Ikea. This was a mistake because when I collapsed into it on Saturday I realized that it is much more comfortable than my Ektorp. They say sofa's with more structured back cushions are more pleasant to sit in than those with loose, sectioned cushions. And so, the Azure goes back on my wish list.
